Am I eligible?
Fit 4 AI: registered office in Luxembourg, an economic activity as main activity and a valid business permit, whether SME or large company. SME Package AI: an SME (headcount, turnover and balance sheet criteria) with its registered office in Luxembourg and a business permit. All sectors, except the activities excluded by the general conditions for SME aid. We check it on the first call.
Can I use both, or combine them with other aid?
The two complement each other: Fit 4 AI for the diagnostic, then an SME Package AI for a first tool if you are an SME. The rules on combining aid depend on your situation and on the aid already received: we check them with you before any submission. Fit 4 AI and the SME Package AI are the two schemes dedicated to AI; Fit 4 Digital funds a digital maturity diagnostic, at a flat fee of EUR 5,000 excl. VAT covered in full, and other schemes cover R&D or sustainability.
What does each programme fund, and how much?
Fit 4 AI funds a study dedicated to AI: 50% of the consultant's fees for an SME, 30% for a large company, on EUR 10,000 to 200,000 excl. VAT. The SME Package AI funds the implementation of an existing AI solution, adapted to your needs, not a diagnostic: 70% of a project of EUR 3,000 to 25,000 excl. VAT. The exact quote follows the first conversation.
How long does it take, and when is the aid paid?
No review time is published. What matters: the application must be filed before the study starts. The Fit 4 AI diagnostic then lasts 6 months at most; the aid is paid in one payment at the end, on a payment request with the invoices, proof of payment and the study. The SME Package AI is paid once the package is in place, on the provider's final invoice.
Does Easylab AI handle the paperwork?
Yes. We prepare the file and documents with you and follow the exchanges with Luxinnovation or the House of Entrepreneurship. The application itself is filed from your MyGuichet.lu space, with your authentication.
What if my application is rejected?
We assess eligibility before any submission. If it is rejected, we look at the reason with you and adjust the scope if a new submission makes sense, at no extra administrative cost.
